NO-BAKING CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH JUST 5 INGREDIENTS
Here you will find the recipe for a delicious children's chocolate no-bake cake, for which you only need 5 ingredients! You can find out what these are and how exactly the whole thing works here.
- 700 grams of mascarpone
- 400 ml whipping cream
- 2 packets of whipped cream (doesn't have to be, because it doesn't make a difference in this recipe. The children's chocolate in the cream provides the hold)
- 54 ladyfingers
- 300-400ml milk
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 70 grams of butter
- 25 children's bars
First the cream is prepared. First, 400ml cream is whipped until stiff. If you want to use whipped cream, you must first whip the cream for 30 seconds and then gradually add two packs of whipped cream.
Meanwhile you can melt the 25 children's bars over a hot water bath. When these are liquid and have cooled to room temperature, they are mixed with the 700g mascarpone and stirred until smooth.
Now the cream is lifted in two portions under the children's chocolate cream. The cream is ready!
Next you should spread out a square baking frame (you can decide the size yourself) on a serving plate. Then the 54 ladyfingers, which you dip in milk from both sides (not too long, otherwise they will be mushy), are lined up.
Now some of the cream is spread onto the ladyfingers. You should divide the cream so that it is completely sufficient to distribute it between the layers and to cover and decorate the cake. Two more layers of ladyfingers are then placed on top and again coated with cream. In the end you should have three layers of ladyfingers and these should be completely covered with the cream at the end.
Now the cake has to be in the fridge for at least 8 hours. The best way to do this is overnight. In the meantime you have to remove the frame to be able to coat the edges of the cake with the cream as well, so that it has enough time to set.
The next day it's time to decorate the cake. To do this, melt 150g dark chocolate and 70g butter over a water bath and stir them well together. With this liquid chocolate mass you can then walk along the top edge of the cake and use a spoon to pull down small drops.
When you have done that, you can put the rest of the cream in one piping bag Fill with a star nozzle and pipe dots around the cake as well. Of course, the children's chocolate should not be missing in the decoration!
You can break or cut small pieces and place them on every second dot of cream. In the middle of the cake there are now pieces of all kinds. There are no limits to your creativity. You can cut larger parts by halving the children's bars, for example, or scattering small diced pieces over them. You can do that as you like.
Finally, you should cool the cake for another hour before cutting it. Then the cake is finally ready to serve and you can enjoy it!
