"SURPRISE!" – THIS CAKE HAS IT IN THE LITERALLY SENSE OF THE WORD
A cake that has a surprise in it - that's what you know with fillings that trigger real culinary delights. A surprise cake that just trickles out when you cut it open, that's the party hit par excellence and inspires young and old. Here you get the recipe for this colorful cake. Mmmm, delicious and so beautiful to look at!
The preparation is very easy
Put all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and knead well. After that you go and take half of the dough from the bowl to be colored with food coloring.
Take two round springform pans and put a metal cylinder in each. The metal cylinder provides the recess for the surprise filling. Fill the colored dough into one mold and the uncolored dough into the other. Both are now in the oven at 160 degrees and circulating air. When the baking time is over, take out both cakes and let them cool. Now halve the colored dough with a horizontal cut.
It goes to the cream
Now the butter is whipped with the cream cheese. After whipping, stir a little powdered sugar into the cream. Then you spread the colored bottom of the cake with the cream - your glue, so to speak.
Then you fill the middle with the surprise of chocolate beans or other surprises that come to mind. Then you join both sides together. As a covering layer you spread the whole cake with the cream from the outside. The best way to do this is with an angle spatula and a cake turntable.
